Work

Seven years of public programming across New York City and Long Island. Some of these programs we founded. Some we produce with partners. Some we handle one critical piece of. Every listing says which.

Hudson Yards / Hell’s Kitchen Alliance

Three festivals. One park. Year-round.

Produced by Colored Colors in partnership with HYHK Alliance and NYC Department of Parks & Recreation

The Hudson Yards/Hell’s Kitchen Alliance programs Bella Abzug Park year-round. Since 2021 we’ve produced three of its anchor festivals — one for every season — bringing grassroots arts and culture into one of the densest, fastest-growing neighborhoods in Manhattan.

Spring Fling — Arts and music festival, sixth year in 2026. Five dates across May and June, two stages, a marketplace between 33rd and 34th, live art, and all-ages programming. Expanded to two areas of the park this year. Visit springflingnyc.com →

Goodbye Summer — Three-day end-of-summer festival. Two stages, independent makers marketplace, live art, food vendors. Visit goodbyesummernyc.com →

Holidays at the Park — Winter holiday market in Bella Abzug Park, at the foot of the Vessel. Weekends, November 21 – December 13, 2026. Vendor applications →

Every event is free and open to the public.

  • Long Island Public Arts Fest

Babylon · Deer Park · Huntington, NY — Co-founded by José Tutiven. Produced by Colored Colors and BACCA.

Three parks. 50+ artists. Three months. A regional public art exhibition bridging Long Island’s North and South Shores, turning everyday public parks into wall-free outdoor museums.

  • Huntington Art Week

Huntington, NY — Co-founded by José Tutiven. Produced with digho and G6 Digital Media.

75+ programs. 30+ venues. One week. Exhibitions, live music, film screenings, and workshops across museums, theaters, galleries, and small businesses throughout Huntington.

  • The Artist Tree — Farmingdale

Farmingdale, NY — Lead curatorial partner: Colored Colors.

Four seasonal exhibitions a year, and artists keep 100% of every sale. For their first location outside California, The Artist Tree brought us in to make sure the walls reflect Long Island rather than Los Angeles.

  • 317 Main Street — Rotating Artist Exhibition

Farmingdale, NY — Curation, installation, and opening nights by Colored Colors.

Three artists a year. Quarterly rotations. Work for sale. In 2026 one of Long Island’s most decorated restaurants brought us in to put curated exhibitions on its walls, matched to the room.

  • The Spectacular Holiday Markets

Huntington Village, NY — Vendor marketplace management by Colored Colors.

We run the vendor marketplace for the market’s producers: applications, onboarding, and staff on site every market day so it runs smoothly. Artists, makers, and creative small businesses — the market’s food vendors are handled by its producers. Part of the Huntington Holiday Spectacular on Wall Street, Small Business Weekend through early January.

  • The Art Crawl

Downtown Farmingdale, NY — Founded and produced by Colored Colors, 2019–2025.

Connecting artists with new audiences while driving foot traffic into downtown storefronts. Ready to return to Farmingdale — or to your downtown.

  • The Spark Festival — Teatro Yerbabruja

Bay Shore, NY — Festival branding, marketing, and vendor acquisition by Colored Colors.

Teatro Yerbabruja needed a festival that looked like it had always existed. We built the identity from scratch, ran the campaign, and filled the marketplace with vendors from our roster.

  • Night at the Agora — The Heckscher Museum of Art

Huntington, NY — Program design and production by Colored Colors.

The museums in the city have after-hours nights; Long Island didn’t. We designed one for the Heckscher — music, drinks, the galleries open late, and a room full of people who don’t usually go to museums together.

  • Latin Night — Huntington Arts Council

Heckscher Park, Huntington, NY — Lineup curation and marketing for the Huntington Arts Council.

Part of the Huntington Arts Council’s two-month Summer Arts Festival at Heckscher Park, produced by the Council and the Town of Huntington. For Latin Night, Colored Colors curates the lineup of touring Latin acts and markets the night to the audience it’s for — a lawn full of families, dancing until dark.
