ABOUT THE SHOW
COMM(UNITY) EXPLORES MULTIPLE EMOTIONS AND MULTIPLE CHARACTERS, WITH THE HOPES OF ELEVATING AN EMOTION INTO A CONVERSATION SPECIFICALLY WITH THE “URBAN” STYLE OF
ART KNOWN AS GRAFFITI. BY PHYSICALLY HAVING ARTISTS COLLABORATE WITH EACH OTHER; MOST OF THEM NOT JUST BEING PEERS BUT FRIENDS, IT IS A TRIBUTE TO A LOT OF THEIR FAMILY AND COMMUNITY VALUES THEY HAVE GAINED THROUGH THEIR ARTISTRY.
THE ARTISTIC LANGUAGE THAT IS “GRAFFITI” HAS ADVANCED IN THE DECADES SINCE ITS CONCEPTION AND THE ARTISTS EXHIBITING WORK REFLECT THE DIVERSE STYLE OF AVENUES THAT GRAFFITI HAS PAVED THE WAY FOR. THIS EXHIBITION GIVES OPPORTUNITY TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE DIVERSITY OF THE ART GENRE WHILE SHOWCASING AN AUTHENTIC AND BROADER SCOPE OF THE COMMUNITY BEHIND GRAFFITI.
