WHAT IS LATIN HERITAGE MONTH?

Latin Heritage Month, also known as Hispanic Heritage Month, is a vibrant and celebratory time that takes place from September 15th to October 15th. This month-long observance in the United States showcases and honors the diverse cultures, histories, and accomplishments of Latinx individuals and their contributions to society. It serves as a reminder of the rich tapestry of Latinx heritage and their impact in fields such as music, art, literature, science, and politics. From the colorful traditions, mouthwatering cuisines, to the rhythmic beats of salsa and merengue, Latin Heritage Month creates an opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to immerse themselves in the beauty and significance of the Latinx culture. It is a time to celebrate unity, diversity, and the immense influence of Latinx people in shaping the American society we know today.
